This fine Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee offers a bright acidity and an intense, clean taste. Each sip reveals a complexity of floral notes in aroma; sometimes with a hint of toasted coconut. Cupping notes frequently classify the aftertaste as vibrant, and the coffee may exhibit undertones of berry or wine.

Yirgacheffe coffee is a wet processed (washed) coffee grown at elevations ranging from 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level. It is widely regarded to be the best high-grown beans in southern Ethiopia, an exotic region known for fine coffees. These elevations qualify Yirgacheffes as Strictly High Grown (SHG)/Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) coffees — those that grow slowly due to their altitude, allowing additional time for surrounding trees to deliver nutrients and develop the best flavors.
